In 2020-21, Ryerson Toastmasters earned the top honour a Toastmasters club can earn: Presidents Distinguished Status. An award only achieved by the top performing clubs in the world.

International Speech Competition Awards

The International Speech Competition is an annual speech contest Toastmasters International runs that any Toastmaster who has completed level 2 in Pathways can compete in. The competition starts at the club level, and the winners move on to Area (~5 clubs), then division (~30 clubs), then district (~City of Toronto), and so on until the World Finals. Eventually deciding the World Champion of Public Speaking.
